Friday, September 9, there will be an unprecedented Paulian amateur cycling competition organized by the Franco Ballerini Bari Cycling School: Costa di Trulli Memorial Franco Ballerini which starts at Mola di Bari (starts at 13:45 from Piazza XX Settembre) and arrives at Selva di Fasano ( around 5:30 pm in Via del Leccio) at the culmination of a difficult uphill end after I reached the municipalities of Rutigliano, Conversano, Castellana Grotte, Putignano, Noci, Alberobello, Locorotondo and Cisternino 122 kilometers away.
On Saturday 10, the curtain rose for the 62nd Messabian Cup, which this year celebrates its 70th birthday, in the control room of GSC Orazio Lorusso. Finale on Sunday 11 with Targa Crucheviso 72 in Polignano a Mare, another noble cycling classic in Polignano with the Asd Polisport Polignano. The usual circuit that includes the territory of Castellana Grote, Conversano and Monopoli is confirmed. On Via Martiri dei Dogale, departure is at 13:30 and arrival is expected around 17:30.

There are also 180 presences from abroad which is not trivial and this happens every year here in Puglia. For this commitment, the efforts of the institutions must be acknowledged, to demonstrate the ability of cycling in Puglia to combine the technical part with the promotional part, and to relaunch our region from all points of view.“.
